Towards future road technology

Road Technology, a Swedish Network of Excellence for Road Technolgy, is an expert network, for research, development, and demonstration in the construction, maintenance and operation of road transport infrastructure with the support of the Swedish Road Administration (SRA).

The network’s strategy is to increase co-operation between research institutes, universities/colleges, industry, and road managers. Road Technology is intended to act as a link that will contribute to greater mobility among researchers and postgraduate students in co-operation with proprietors and other clients.

As of today more than 70 projects are connected to the Network of Excellence. The aim is to be a strong partner both for the National Road Administration and other clients and for leading European research environments in the field.

The network will contribute to increased co-operation between research institutes, universities/colleges, industry, and road managers.

It is intended to act as a link that will contribute to greater mobility among researchers and postgraduate students in co-operation with proprietors and other clients.
